What You'll Do


This role will join our NAMR Staffing team, which drives the team deployment of BCG’s most important asset – its people. Our team is seeking a People Team Specialist to provide critical logistical, strategic, and administrative support across the North American region (NAMR). This role is ideal for someone passionate about a career in the HR/People space, and who thrives in fast-paced environments while maintaining a keen attention to detail.  

 

Our consultants work across the private, public, and social sectors to drive impact that transforms organizations—and often themselves in the process. Consulting teams are thoughtfully staffed to balance the needs of the individual, the firm, and our clients. The People Team Specialist will support their local office team to execute on the DEI, office integration, mobility and broader people agenda set by the strategic vision of the firm. The role will ensure thoughtful and timely execution and drive critical analyses and insights to their local office team. This role will evolve over time to include additional responsibilities. 

 

This role will work directly with the office Business Management Leader, local Talent Managers and system/office leadership. It will also partner with relevant cross-functional and regional team members.

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO 

 

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

Maintain all communication & program coordination (e.g., Segment of One, etc.); prepare meeting materials & follow-up with key stakeholdersPilot new network engagement programs to coordinate various affiliation groups across all consulting cohorts

Office Integration & Mentorship

Oversee integration of all new (incl. Lateral) CT staff to staffing and office culture/norms; lead any relevant local programming (e.g., section / class dean programs, introductory emails, etc.)Lead coordination and execution of Consulting Team new hire pairing programCoordinate across Class Deans / Section Leaders, Talent Acquisition, Talent Managers & social representativesSupport office in variety of other responsibilities and initiatives as relevant (e.g., Cohort Council, Alumni and MDP retiree node, employee appreciation communications)

Business Management Support & Strategic Projects

Support Talent Management strategy & broader People Agenda (e.g., track meeting agendas, drive post-meeting actions & follow-ups, etc.) Analyze annual People Survey, sumamrize insights and share key findings across cohortsExecute on Living our Values / Role of the Office work as relevant Own weekly Short Term Staffing (STS) proces 

Mobility

Coordinate office transfer experiences for all cohorts and programs (e.g., mobility programs, transfers, etc.)Act as Pathways subject-matter expert, partner with TMs to upskill and adhere to deadlines across cohorts locallyProvide ad-hoc assistance and coordination to consulting team members throughout the Mobility process

Other  

Perform other duties and projects as required 

What You'll Bring

 

Bachelor’s degree required 1-3 years of administrative support or human resources experience, preferably at a professional services firm

That's why we operate on a hybrid model, with the expectation that team members will be in the office 3 to 5 days per week. This role is designed for those who thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment and is not intended for remote or virtual work.

 

Compensation 

 

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, retirement contribution, and a market leading benefits package described below.  

 

The base salary range for this role is $79,000 - $97,000. 

 

This is an estimated range and specific base salaries within the range depend on factors such as office location, experience, and skill set. It is not common for new BCG employees to be hired at the high-end of the salary range. BCG regularly reviews its ranges to ensure market competitiveness.  

 

In addition to your base salary, your total compensation will include a discretionary bonus of up to 12% and a generous retirement contribution that starts at 5% and moves to 10% after 2 years.
