People Services Generalist (Payroll)

The People Services Generalist will be responsible for supporting employee lifecycle management, ensuring best-in-class service for Sanofi employees. This role involves executing core People Services processes within the legal framework and Sanofi's corporate policies, while maintaining adequate control and minimizing associated risks.

Main Responsibilities:

1) Operations Excellence for Benefits

Responsible for Benefit Management, in collaboration with external benefit providers - focal point in Vendor Management for local benefit provider, actively involved in issue resolution, requirements gathering and process improvement for various benefit programs in Sanofi.

Execute all employee benefit programs to ensure seamless operation in enrollment, termination, invoicing, reporting, procurement, and compliance of benefit while maintaining data integrity.

Manage and update all benefits related documentations in compliance with data retention policy and company core model.

Provide Tier 2 support for benefits administration and resolution of operational issues in a timely manner prioritizing employee experience and customer satisfaction.

Liaise and coordinate with multiple stakeholders in neighboring functions to ensure that end-to-end benefits processes are well supported.

Standardize, harmonize, and simplify benefits under Sanofi Multi-Country Organization framework.

Act as focal point and advisor for company benefits policies in relation to the medical insurance, health checkup and vaccination programs.

Active involvement in local People & Culture projects and initiatives and adding value to the team by channeling expertise as Benefits Generalist.

Ensure that all benefits tasks and processes executed is aligned with the core model and framework set by Sanofi Business Services KL Hub.

2) Process Excellence

Identify room for improvement on the current process, through simplification, standardization, harmonization, and automation.

Identify and challenge tasks and processes that are not in full compliance and adherence with the core model and Sanofi new ways of working and propose remedial action plans.

Ensure complete and successful execution of remedial action plans with the aim of continuously improving the quality of Benefits.

3) Compliance

Ensure that the day-to-day operations comply with Internal Control framework.

Fulfil Control Self-Assessment (CSA) in a timely manner.

Close all the audit findings (both Internal and External audit) and reflect findings in the relevant reporting tool.

Complete all mandatory compliance trainings in Sanofi learning platforms in a timely manner.

Comply with all HSE and security guidelines, including completion of mandatory trainings for HSE.

4) Individual development

Proactively develop self via face to face and virtual curriculums offered via Sanofi learning platforms.

Active involvement in cross functional continuous improvement projects.

Update Individual Development Plan and Career Hub in Workday regularly and engage with Line Manager and People & Culture to review professional self-development 

About You

Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.

1-2 years of experience in HR or related field.

Proficiency in English (advanced level) required, local language skills advantageous.

Basic understanding of HR processes and activities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Familiarity with HR tools (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow) is advantageous.

Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.

Adaptability, teamwork, and willingness to learn. Experience in a multicultural environment is a plus.

Awareness of data privacy rules (e.g., GDPR) is beneficial.
