What You'll Do

Our goal is to acquire and retain the best people for our BCG Cairo office. In this exciting and diverse role as People Projects Coordinator of our Cairo office, you will support two important portfolios: internal Mobility & Immigration and Learning & Development.

 

You will coordinate end-to-end internal mobility efforts by managing the pipeline of talent moving to and from our other BCG offices around the globe, ensuring a smooth process for all stakeholders. This includes all immigration-related topics.

 

In addition, you will also coordinate our local office Learning & Development efforts. You will work closely with our BCG Global, Regional and Africa Learning & Development teams to ensure that our staff receive best-in-class training and development opportunities to support their personal and professional growth.

 

As an expert in your sphere of responsibility and a sparing partner for your line manager, you’ll be in charge and will have a direct impact in growing our vibrant and exciting Cairo office.

What you will do (Mobility & Immigration)

· Updating of the Cairo Mobility Marketplace (BCG’s global internal mobility platform) and providing support to Global Mobility service team

o Supporting Consulting staff transferring to Cairo

o Supporting Consulting staff transferring from Cairo

· Monitoring and managing the mobility annual budget

· Supporting cross-Africa mobility efforts by managing central pipeline of inbound talent

· Acting as key BCG counterpart to our Immigration Service Provider

· Coordinating the Cairo visa process with Immigration Service Provider; ensuring timeous and accurate submission of documents to ISP, keeping track of status of applications, monitoring upcoming visa requirements, owning renewals and updates and providing regular reporting to leadership and internal teams

· Providing outbound immigration support for individuals participating in international or client-related travel

· Tracking relevant people movements in and out of Egypt from a duty of care and compliance perspective, ensuring appropriate work authorization has been received by the BCG team members present in the Cairo office

· Maintaining close coordination with the Recruiting, HR and Finance teams, ensuring clear handover points where relevant; including managing administrative requests

 

What you will do (Learning & Development)

· Planning, organizing and supervising training initiatives for our Consulting & Business Services staff; including managing administrative requests

· Organizing the training process and taking care of participant management

· Serving as the contact person for internal and external training providers

· Responsible for invoice verification and carrying out monthly budget controlling

· Conducting feedback processes, creating feedback analyses and identifying needs for actions

· Managing the input, processing and maintenance of our database

What You'll Bring

You bring (Experience & Qualifications)

· 3-5 years work experience and extensive track record in a fast-paced environment, specifically in an Mobility/Immigration, Learning & Development, HR or project management role

· Bachelors degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business or Administration

· Exceptional responsiveness with strong interpersonal and communication skills

· Experience providing high level of customer service, managing confidential materials and administrative tasks

· Exceptional time management skills, demonstrating clear systems and composure to handle multiple tasks at once

· Experience in project management, particularly within a complex stakeholder landscape

· Ability to be proactive and take the initiative to identify opportunities to support the team and improve ways of working

· Enthusiasm and a positive “can-do” attitude

· Self-starting: proactively identifying areas to unlock value and efficiency for the local office within your remit

· Leading and supporting complex project activities working with other internal and external stakeholders

· Ensuring key stakeholders are well-informed and guiding them toward making the right decisions
