People Partner - DBB
Location: Amsterdam, with a mix of office and home working
Fulltime: 40 hours a week

What will you do as a People Partner?
The People Partner (PP) works closely with the Business and People Centers of expertise and provides a wide range of HR generalist activities and strategies for the designated scope / location.
In this role he/she is the primary People Function contact for his/her client group to deliver professional service, alternating between strategic, tactical & pragmatic approaches to act as a trusted people partner, in order to contribute to the optimal performance and engagement of the workforce. This in the field of Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Workforce planning, Organisational Development, Talent management, Labour Law and compliance.
He/She contributes to the Business transformation and takes the lead in specific People-projects, always aiming to improve HR processes and ways of working within the People function and support the business in achieving their goals through people.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provides input for the annual DBB People plan based on the needs and future needs of the business / program.
• Contributes to the implementation of the People plan, in collaboration with other HR stakeholders and the business
• Translates assigned projects from People Plan into actions
• Act as the performance improvement driver and provoke positive changes in people performance and behavior.
• Supports and facilitates Climate Survey process and Action Plan definition for the location / scope under responsibility.
• Coach and mentor line managers to improve their people management skills.
• Detects and anticipates the business needs concerning staffing (new positions, replacements).
• Supports line managers on job descriptions, job profiles and job postings.
• End to end owner of the recruitment process.
• Responsible for a smooth Performance management cycle and guarantees quality of PDP and feedback culture.
• Guides line managers and employees throughout the Performance and Potential cycles.
• Facilitates the Calibration sessions (performance & potential) in order to improve the level of performance of individuals/teams/organization.
Are you the People Partner who completes our team?
We are looking for someone with expert knowledge of local labor law available to answer all complex questions and support PP escalated queries, who can work completely autonomously, designing framework in close collaboration with the People & Development Manager.

Master or Bachelor degree in relevant education (Business, HR, etc.) or equivalent combination of education, training and experience Minimal 10+ years’ strategic experience within HR or relevant business unit 7+ years’ experience in a Generalist HR position Skilled in stakeholder management, strong communication and organisational skills Hands-on and team player in a project environment Ability to work with cross-functional , cross-cultural teamsWe embrace learning and growth and anticipate there is scope to develop in this role. You’re also likely to bring experiences to this role that are not listed above – as long as you have a thirst for learning and development, not every box needs to be ticked when it comes to skillset.
