People Partner, Platforms and Devices (English, Mandarin)

In this role, you will be the People Operations leader for Platforms and Devices (P and D) Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. You will reports to the People Operations lead for the Devices and Services Product Group within Platforms and Devices, but also works cross-functionally in partnership with the Platforms and Devices HR team. You will require executive level cross-functional generalist leadership, influence, and execution across all People Operations functions. Whether recruiting the next Googler, refining our core programs, developing talent, or simply looking for ways to inject some more fun into the lives of our Googlers, we bring a data-driven approach that is reinventing the human resources field. + Partner with APAC business leaders to shape, execute, and co-own regional people's plans, acting as a trusted advisor and influential partner. Advocate people plan priorities to achieve business goals. + Collaborate with People Partners and extended Human Resource (HR) teams to deliver support to leaders and client groups through HR processes (e.g., Googler Reviews and Development (GRAD), talent planning, organizational health). Maintain communication and team partnerships. + Lead the design and roll-out of region-specific initiatives tailored to the specific needs of the client organization and region. + Identify talent gaps, organizational shortcomings, and people needs that could cause issues to business strategy execution; use this analysis to guide resourcing and development initiatives. + Manage two Google emnployees based in the APAC region.
