We have an opening for a People Operations Generalist who will be a dynamic contributor, responsible for delivering comprehensive HR support and driving impactful people programs.
*This is a flexible hybrid role 2 to 3 days in our Waltham and/or Boston office per week
What you’ll do:
Operational Excellence & Support:
Troubleshoot day-to-day HR needs and inquiries, acting as the initial point of contact for employees and managers. Efficiently escalate critical gaps or complex issues to appropriate HR stakeholders for resolution. Support the administration of employee benefits and compensation programs. Manage employee relations issues, including documentation and support for disciplinary actions.Compliance and Human Resources Expertise:
Coordinate leave of absence programs between a third party administrator, employees, and their management teams for compliant LOA management that supports employees and business needs Administer employer sponsored visa programs and immigration management; able to effectively coordinate between the business and a 3rd party immigration vendor + law firm Ensure compliance with Department of Labor (DOL) regulations by articulating working requirements and translating policy into actionable practices to mitigate risk and optimize business outcomes.Employee & Manager Enablement:
Collaborate with the Talent Development team in the launch of new HR programs, clearly articulating the "how, when, and why" for adoption and outlining support channels. Provide ongoing training and enablement to ensure consistent utilization and understanding of HR tools and processes. Continuously monitor and maintain the quality of HR processes and resources.Strategic Contribution & Decision-Making:
Develop and refine orientation plans to ensure a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience for new hires. Advise on and manage exceptions to hiring timelines, balancing efficiency with business needs. Identify and implement process improvements for critical HR workflows, such as leave of absence administration. Prioritize daily and project-based HR tasks effectively to meet organizational objectives.Belonging & Inclusion:
Actively support and contribute to Constant Contact's Belonging and Inclusion initiatives, including D&I events and programs. Ensure that our belonging and inclusion efforts are consistently integrated and clearly communicated across all onboarding processes and ongoing employee programs/experiences.Leveraging Technology:
Integrate and leverage novel tools and AI, specifically self-service HR Inquiry tools, into your daily workflows to enhance efficiency and work smarter. Act as an advocate and trainer for employees in utilizing self-service HR platforms, maximizing their adoption and utility.
Who You Are:
You are a highly empathetic and organized HR professional with a passion for creating an exceptional employee experience.
Experience & Background:
5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience in a generalist capacity. Proven experience with employee relations, including warning and documentation processes. Demonstrated understanding and experience in benefits, and compensation administration. Demonstrated understanding and experience in the coordination of state leave, FMLA and disability benefits with a third-party provider Experience in developing and delivering training and communication materials.Skills & Competencies:

An understanding of and commitment to supporting Belonging and Inclusion initiatives, ensuring equitable and inclusive practices across employee programs. Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines. Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize and champion self-service HR Inquiry tools and other AI-powered solutions to optimize HR operations (e.g., leveraging AI for data analysis, communication drafting, or process automation).
