People Operations Co-Ordinator
**What you'll bring to the team** We’re looking for a talented, highly motivated, and collaborative People Operations Co-ordinator to join our UK People Hub. Reporting to the People Operations Supervisor, you’ll provide best-in-class HR support to UK teammates across the complete employee lifecycle. Including but not limited to hire-to-retire employee lifecycles, HR policies and processes, and benefits, you’ll be a key point of contact for all HR-related matters. This is a fantastic opportunity to own your craft in a specialist role; you’ll support with operational reporting, contribute to system enhancements, facilitate training sessions, and share best-practices with UK business partners. **What you’ll be doing** + Respond promptly, accurately, and professionally to a wide range of HR queries from employees and managers via our service delivery platform + Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to resolve complex queries, and liaise with third-party providers where needed, handling each interaction with empathy and care. + Monitor trends in query types to identify opportunities for system enhancements, process improvements, or updates to knowledge articles. + Support operational reporting, audits, and ad hoc research to drive data-informed decisions across the UK People Hub and wider global HR teams. + Contribute to projects that enhance service delivery, improve employee experience, or optimise system performance. **Qualifications & Experience** • Minimum of one year of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced customer service, call centre, or HR environment required; experience in a shared services model is a plus • Solid understanding of HR fundamentals, including policies, practices, payroll, timekeeping, and employee benefits • Experience using HRIS (e.g., UKG Pro), ATS, LMS, and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) strongly preferred • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain information clearly and professionally to a range of audiences • Proven problem-solving skills with a resourceful and solution-oriented mindset • Excellent interpersonal skills, including active listening, empathy, and the ability to build trust and rapport quickly • Flexible, reliable, and collaborative team player who thrives in a changing environment • High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when working with sensitive employee data • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion. **Benefits** + Merlin Magic Pass - tickets for you, your family and friends to enjoy all of our Merlin Attractions across the world + 40% discount online off LEGO + 25% discount in our on-site retail shops and restaurants + Access to Merlin benefits page with discounts on over 1000 fashion and electronic retailers, restaurants and travel + Ongoing training and development opportunities + Plus, many more… **Pay Range** Competitive Submit a Referral (https://careers-uk-merlinentertainments.icims.com/jobs/9708/people-operations-co-ordinator/job?mode=apply&apply=yes&in\_iframe=1&hashed=-1834381883) At Merlin we welcome the world to our magical attractions and resorts every day and we want to reflect that same multicultural mix inside our business too.
