People Operations Analyst
About the Role As a People Operations Analyst at Hinge Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring operational excellence and a data-driven approach to people operations. You’ll be a key player in our day-to-day HR processes, employee lifecycle management, compliance, and people analytics. This hybrid role blends operational responsibilities—such as managing our ticketing system and employee transactions—with fundamental HR data analysis and systems support. You’ll collaborate across People, IT, and Finance teams to ensure data integrity, compliance, and a seamless employee experience. What You'll Accomplish Manage the people operations question ticketing system, triage inquiries, resolve or escalate issues, and ensure timely closure and thorough documentation. Perform day-to-day data entry and updates in Workday and other HR systems, supporting transactions such as new hires, terminations, internal transfers, and promotions. Conduct regular audits of employee data across systems maintaining accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Prepare and update both standard and ad hoc people analytics reports in Google Sheets, leveraging tools like pivot tables and v-lookups, and support creation and maintenance of dashboards for HR and cross-functional stakeholders. Pull, reconcile, and manage changes with Workday data to keep records updated and support audit processes. Support internal and external audits by preparing reports and efficiently responding to data requests. Review, revise, and document SOPs for HR processes, ensuring adherence to compliance requirements and helping keep policies up to date. Identify opportunities for process improvement and partner across HR to define and implement standardized, automated, and scalable solutions. Provide administrative support for immigration-related activities, including maintaining employee files and ensuring timely compliance. Stay up to date on people operations trends and best practices, recommending tools or enhancements that improve business growth and employee experience. Collaborate closely across People Ops, IT, Finance, and other business partners to support HR operations and shared goals. Support various People Operations and HR projects to enhance the employee experience. Employees in hybrid roles are required to be in the office 3 days per week, for the full 8 hours of a typical business day. The San Francisco office has a dog-friendly workplace program. Basic Qualifications 1+ years of experience in People Operations, HR systems, or a related administrative/analytical function (ideally in a fast-paced or growing environment). Strong proficiency with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Gmail, Calendar, etc.), especially advanced functions in Sheets (pivot tables, vlookups, data analysis/manipulation). Experience with HRIS (Workday preferred) and other HR or employee data platforms (e.g., ADP, ChartHop, Emtrain, etc.). Document workflows for key people operations processes to ensure clarity, consistency, and scalability across the team. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing a ticketing system (such as Zendesk, Jira, ServiceNow, or similar) or a shared HR inbox. Prior experience building and maintaining HR reports and dashboards for stakeholders. Exposure to HR or people analytics, including trend identification and process improvement. Familiarity with compliance, audit readiness, and HR document management. Previous experience in a high-growth, health tech, or dynamically changing company environment. Interest or experience in immigration support or compliance. Compensation This position will have an annual salary, plus equity and benefits. Please note the annual salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. The annual salary range for this position is $92,800 - $139,200/year.
