How you will contribute

You will:

Support and partner with the Senior People Lead on the definition and execution of global and local policy and change initiatives and understand the impacts of the changes plannedPartner with function leads and middle managers to collaborate on creating  and delivering the functional priorities and plan, providing strategic guidanceLeverage data analytics in driving business solutions and decisions and support with the delivery of operational processes and leverage insights and data and translate into actionable plans to impact the bottom line and enable business strategy. Inform and update People Services of any local, legal and regulatory changes in marketLead and advise on talent management practices within assigned business unit related to workforce planning, talent acquisition strategy planning, leadership development, employee development, career and succession planning and talent mobility, approving job requisitionsBuild end-to-end capabilities that accelerate consumer-centric growth and operational excellenceManage works council relations and provide guidance to HR to ensure successful implementation of labor policies and compliance with laws and agreements`Consult on overhead management

More about this role

This role requires a strong understanding of the Italian commercial landscape and the ability to navigate its unique challenges and opportunities. The People Lead will provide critical support to the Director People Lead Italy, focusing on commercial activities within the Italian market.

Key Responsibilities:

Italian Labour Law Expertise:

Possess broad and in-depth knowledge of Italian labor law, ensuring 100% legal compliance in all HR practices.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of collective labor agreements (CCNL) and their application within the commercial function.Provide dedicated HR support to the commercial team, addressing a wide range of people management matters.

Labour Relations Support:

Support the People Lead - Labour Relations in managing relationships with trade unions, (end-to-end union responsibility, agreement renewals or union agreements following the implementation of international projects), particularly within the commercial sector.Assist in the implementation of labor policies and compliance with laws and agreements, under the guidance of the People Lead - Labour Relations.Assist with disciplinary actions, workplace accident investigations, attendance management, and justification processes.

Project Management & Implementation:

Support the management of HR projects related to organizational resizing and efficiency improvements.Contribute to the development and implementation of succession planning policies for the commercial function.Support the implementation of international HR projects within the NWE (Northern & Western Europe) region.Manage confidential HR projects, ensuring discretion and adherence to company policies.Liaise with legal counsel on employment-related matters.Actively monitor labor market trends, benchmarking against other organizations to develop and propose innovative workplace strategies that support the evolution of the Mondelez workplace of the future.

Qualifications:

Fluent in both Italian and English (mandatory).3-4 years of experience in a similar HR Business Partner role.Experience in the manufacturing industry (preferred).Strong understanding and experience of industrial relations (a must).Proven ability to operate as a Business Partner.
