As People Excellence Lead Hungary Greece and Ukraine Cluster within our People and Culture Team, you’ll shape Sanofi's future by driving strategic people initiatives and fostering a high-performance culture in your assigned cluster countries. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, leading organizational transformations while managing key stakeholder relationships, including unions and government bodies. Your expertise will be crucial in developing and executing talent strategies, from succession planning to leadership development, ensuring we attract and retain top talent. You'll champion our Employee Value Proposition and One People & Culture strategy, creating an environment where employees can thrive and grow. In this impactful role at a global healthcare leader, you'll drive innovative people practices while developing your leadership capabilities in a purpose-driven organization.

Main responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & External Representation

Serve as Sanofi's ambassador on all People matters, building strategic partnerships with key stakeholders

Lead employee relations with government bodies and ensure compliant implementation of policies

Champion our Employee Value Proposition externally, leveraging competitive intelligence in the biopharma industry

Drive the deployment of our One People & Culture strategy at country level

People Management & Organizational Excellence

Coach and develop direct reports, fostering high performance, cross-border collaboration, and team synergies

Provide expert P&C counseling to employees and managers, ensuring operational excellence

Contribute to workforce planning initiatives and improve People Services experience

Monitor and manage personnel costs and budgets effectively for the Cluster

Labor Relations & Change Management

Own local deployment of Labor Relations strategy aligned with global directives

Serve as primary liaison with co-determination bodies and negotiate collective agreements

Partner with People Business Partners to implement organizational changes effectively

Support union/works council negotiations and manage people transitions sensitively

Talent Development & Acquisition

Ensure robust talent pipeline development in partnership with market and GBU/GF stakeholders

Deliver P4G workshops to enhance people management capabilities across the organization

Engage in talent reviews and provide development guidance to employees and managers

Partner with Talent Acquisition on strategic leadership hires that strengthen critical capabilities

Operational Support & Compliance

Support on-site People & Culture activities requiring local presence or language expertise

Facilitate learning initiatives and ensure compliance with local requirements

Manage rewards and recognition programs, including collective agreement negotiations

Champion digital adoption of ESS/MSS and One Support platform

About you

Experience:

Minimum 10+ years of progressive HR experience

At least 5 years in HR leadership roles

Proven track record in managing HR operations across multiple countries

Experience in leading organizational transformations

International HR experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry

Background in employee relations and labor negotiations

Experience partnering with senior business leaders

Soft and Technical Skills:

Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills

Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Expertise in change management and cultural transformation

Proficiency in talent management, HR analytics, and HR technologies

Strong negotiation skills, particularly in collective bargaining

Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

Adaptability to fast-paced, evolving environments

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred

Languages:

Fluent in English and Hungarian. Knowledge of Greek, or Ukrainian is a plus
