The People Development Advisor role acts as the primary contact and triage point for any people development requirement within the business. As a first point of contact for customers, the role provides day to day support and guidance to the business to assess the approach needed to meet their learning, leadership and talent development needs in line with the business strategic people priorities and plans. This role will also take responsibility of supporting the delivery of our core learning, leadership & talent initiatives, capability development & consulting, and team development & effectiveness.

The Opportunity:

As part of this, we are seeking a full time People Development Advisor.  The People Development Advisor provides day to day learning guidance and support to the People Development team and broader People team to meet customer needs and business requirements in line with the business strategic people plans. 

Your new role

The People Development Advisor role acts as the primary contact and triage point for any people development requirement within the business. As a first point of contact for customers, the role provides day to day support and guidance to the business to assess the approach needed to meet their learning, leadership and talent development needs in line with the business strategic people priorities and plans.   This role will also take responsibility of supporting the delivery of our core learning, leadership & talent initiatives, capability development & consulting, and team development & effectiveness.  

Primary Responsibilities

Owns the scheduling and logistics for EO’s people development solutions, ensuring the implementation of a high-quality learning experience for our employeesProactively tracks attendance, develop metrics and use assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of and continuously improve the impact of learning solutions.Acts as an expert and adoption lead for Workday learning and Career Hub, and supports with awareness and knowledge of how to use new tools and resources in Workday.Ensure our Development@EO QUBE pages are kept up to date, accessible and easy to navigate.Proactively manages the governance of our people development product resources and materials, ensuring that the whole team are following the process of centrally storing all content related to our products.Proactively responds to queries in our Learning Mailbox, collaborating with the wider team to find solutions, and ensure we are capturing answers in a central location to build knowledge and consistency across the team. Collaborates with our Group function to support the delivery of enterprise-wide development opportunities such as ME@QBE sessions.Acts as a SME on learning processes and takes accountability of process improvement and streamlined ways of working.On behalf of the learning team, ensuring effective use of our learning tools, and coordinating technical elements of any live / online events.Collaborates with divisional and group learning colleagues to share solutions, expertise and implement process improvements, driving simplification in end-to-end processes.Uses data to identify trends and insights that could be shared with the People team and business stakeholders.Supports the people development team to assess, define, and manage a list of preferred learning providers.Coordinates internal communications activities to promote people development events and own the communications plan on behalf of the People Development team.Supports the management of the people development portfolio related to projects in flight and completed and available solutions.

Partners with the business and people development managers to provide advice and guidance to determine appropriate solutions for business need. Establishes, develops and maintains effective relationships across EO to deliver an impactful and customer focused learning serviceTakes the lead on small to mid-sized projects, includes meeting with leaders/business colleagues to identify the need, manage the design, source content and support the deployment of solutions
