The role
As a People Centre Administrator, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Join the Employee Lifecycle Team, providing accurate and efficient support to employees and line managers at every stage of their journey across all Babcock sites.
Day-to-day, you’ll support candidates, employees and line managers across all Babcock sites with accurate, efficient contract management and seamless onboarding.
Collaborate with the People Centre Team to support HR and line managers with complex queries Provide consistent updates to hiring managers and candidates throughout the onboarding process Deliver accurate contract and onboarding support across all Babcock sites
This role is full time 37.5, hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.
Essential experience of the People Centre Administrator
Respond to escalated HR enquiries, ensuring alignment with company policy and employment legislation Manage employee lifecycle cases including leavers, contract changes, and flexible leave policies Draft contracts and letters for variations such as promotions, shift changes, and extensions Ensure all processes meet business standards and legal requirements, including data protection Resolve payroll queries in collaboration with Time and Attendance and Payroll teams
Qualifications for the People Centre Administrator
CIPD Level 3 or NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration qualification desired or relevant experience/working towards this - Desirable
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
