As a passionate People Business Partner within our France People & Culture team supporting our Vaccines R&D function in France, you will work as a strategic advisor, supporting Global Vaccines R&D leadership teams and contributing to the development and implementation of our people strategy. You are highly motivated, with a positive attitude, unafraid to challenge the status quo, and eager to propose innovative People & Culture solutions.

Main responsibilities:

As a member of the Vaccines R&D People & Culture team, you will be expected to work in close partnership with the business leaders and the rest of the P&C community across the geography.

Strategic Partnership: Advise and coach Vaccines R&D leadership on people strategies aligned with Sanofi's global objectives and culture

Talent Management: Support activation of Vaccines R&D talent priorities in alignment with the North Star Talent Strategy. Know Accelerate and selected Advance talents for Vaccines R&D France. Build manager capability in assessing potential, lead succession planning for critical roles, and develop strategies to retain and develop top talent. Advise leaders and employees on career development and talent activities. (approx. time spent on Talent is 30-40%)

Org Design and Effectiveness: Coordinate and manage business and organization changes in country in conjunction with other People Business Partners at R&D level. Support Vaccines R&D organizational transformation, ensuring best practices in organization design to promote effectiveness and competitiveness

Culture, Diversity and Inclusion: Champion Sanofi's Culture, Diversity and Inclusion initiatives within R&D. Support leaders in sustaining the culture transformation

Strategic Workforce Planning: In collaboration with the Organizational Capabilities COE, lead the end-to-end Strategic Workforce Planning process for Vaccines R&D. This includes delivering actionable insights on capability gaps, workforce sizing, and competitive talent landscape dynamics. Design and execute targeted strategies to close identified gaps, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives and future-ready talent needs

Talent Acquisition: Provide local input to understand and shape requirements for respective workforce segment and partner with TA teams for hiring of L3+ talent for critical Vaccines R&D roles

Performance and Compensation Management: Lead annual performance and compensation cycles for Vaccines R&D, ensuring fair and competitive practices

Learning & Development: Collaborate with L&D teams to design and implement initiatives that enhance R&D capabilities and individual development

Change Management: Coordinate and manage organizational changes within R&D, applying change management methodologies to ensure smooth transitions

People Analytics: Advise business based on data and insights and leverage local people insights and analytics for strategic P&C agenda and to provide voice of the customer

Employee Relations: Advise on high-profile/severe cases and act as escalation point for high-profile cases in respective market

About you

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a multinational, matrixed organization international exposure is desirable

Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, particularly in R&D, is a plus

Soft and technical skills: 

Proven ability to build effective working relationships across functions and levels. Comfortable supporting leaders and teams with P&C strategic guidance and operational support

Solid business acumen with the ability to understand R&D goals and translate them into P&C solutions

Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions

Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; master’s degree preferred

Languages:

Fluent French and English
