The RoleThe People & Culture Manager (PCM) serves as a trusted HR advisor to executive leaders, helping connect business goals with talent strategies. You will advise and coach leaders, delivering insight and guidance that strengthens leadership effectiveness, organization capability and workforce readiness. Though clients supported are subject to change, this role is aligned to support select leaders in the Finance organization and Legal & Public Policy.
You will champion culture and transformation by embedding Lumen’s values into organization practices and leadership mindsets and ensure HR programs are effectively implemented to enable an environment where people thrive in a high-performance organization.

The Main Responsibilities Serve as the primary HR leader for direct reports to C-suite, and VP-level leaders, providing trusted counsel on leadership effectiveness, organizational capability and workforce priorities.Build strategic, influential relationships with leaders to enhance leadership and team effectiveness, improve communication, and enable courageous conversations.Understand the business strategy and partner with leaders, within established frameworks, to build the capabilities, competencies, structures, and processes required for continued transformation.Partner with executive leaders, the HR Solutions Team, and HR Centers of Excellence to align business goals with talent strategies, support effective change management, and ensure workforce plans enable strong performance outcomes.Support a culture of agility by adapting to changing business requirements and guiding leaders through organizational shifts.Leverage workforce analytics to identify trends and future talent needs, equipping leaders with data-driven insights to guide in workforce planning, succession management, and progress against talent strategies.Serve as the liaison between business leaders and HR Centers of Excellence (COE) by connecting leaders with the appropriate HR experts. Provide continuous feedback on COE and HR programs so they remain effective in supporting business priorities.Provide high touch onboarding for new senior leaders, to ensure a smooth transition, strong cultural integration, and alignment with business priorities.Champion and infuse organizational culture by role-modeling and reinforcing core behaviors, ensuring alignment between business practices and company values.What We Look For in a Candidate Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience8+ years of HR experience in complex organizationsProven, exceptional partnering skills across HR teams and business leaders.Strong business acumen with the ability to link business strategies, talent priorities, and HR programs to drive organizational success.Expertise in coaching leaders to strengthen effectiveness, navigate change, and build high-performing teams.Exceptional ability to influence senior leaders, build credibility and drive alignment on key talent priorities.Proven track record of using workforce analytics to identify trends and provide data-driven insights and recommendations that align workforce priorities with business outcomes.Deep HR knowledge, including processes and talent management practices.Demonstrated commitment to role-model and reinforce Lumen’s core behaviors: Teamwork, Trust, Transparency, Clarity, Customer Obsession, Courage, Growth Mindset, and Respect.

Compensation This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.
