BACKGROUND
Applications are now being accepted for a Part-Time Medical Clinic Clerk to work on Pelee Island. The successful applicant will be required to work 0700-1500 and 0830-1630, Monday-Friday including holidays. The commitment to this position is 37.5 hours per bi-weekly pay period.
EDUCATION
+ Post-secondary diploma from a recognized Medical Administration program required
+ Medical Terminology required
QUALIFICATIONS
+ Knowledge of Electronic Health Records software preferred
+ Three (3) years related clerical and/or office administration experience preferred
+ Customer Service Training preferred
+ Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
+ Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to rapidly changing priorities
+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively multitask and prioritize competing responsibilities
+ Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
+ Typing speed 40 wpm
+ Must have a valid G driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle to support lab work/supply transport
+ Bilingualism is an asset
