Job Overview:

The Peer Support Staff facilitate CPR Peer Support Groups and assist the CPR Case Manager in facilitating CPR Psycho-educational Groups.

Qualifications:

Required:

CORE Training and Co-occurring Certificate from the Mental Health Association in NJ MHANJExperience as a mental health consumerValid NJ Driver's License

Preferred:

Bilingual in English and Spanish

Essential Functions:

Provide support and encouragement to CPR consumersInterface with family and friends of CPR consumersProvide outreach and support to CPR consumers, consistent with Treatment PlansTransport or arrange transportation to appointments, as neededAttend CPR Team MeetingsAssist CPR Consumers in completing Wellness & Recovery Baseline and Followup SurveysComplete Evaluator's training on interviewing techniques for administering Evaluation surveysAssist CPR Consumers in developing Psychiatric Advanced Directives
