With over 170 pediatric physician specialists representing 25 medical and surgical disciplines, the staff offers the care St. Joseph's Children's Hospital is known for. This is a Pediatric Pool position with the opportunity to evaluate and treat throughout St Joseph’s Children’s Hospital including the PICU, CPICU and NICU as well as in outpatient. 3 to 5 years Pediatric experience preferred. Bilingual a plus. **Pediatric Occupational Therapist** responsibilities: + Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations focusing on fine motor skills, sensory processing, activities of daily living (ADLs), upper extremity function, feeding, and developmental milestones. + Develop individualized, age-appropriate treatment plans and therapeutic goals in collaboration with families and medical providers. + Provide evidence-based interventions to support functional performance in self-care, play, school readiness, and social participation. + Educate caregivers and family members on home programs, adaptive equipment, and strategies for continued progress outside the hospital. + Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, nurses, physicians, psychologists, and social workers. + Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries according to hospital standards and regulatory guidelines. + Participate in patient rounds, case conferences, and discharge planning. + Ensure safe, child-friendly, and developmentally supportive treatment environments. + Maintain up-to-date knowledge in pediatric occupational therapy practices, standards, and regulatory requirements. + A supervising licensed Occupational Therapist may only supervise 1 permittee at any given time. **Requirements:** + BLS (Basic Life Support) + OT (Occupational Therapy) + Or OT (Occupational Therapy) Eligible to obtain + Required Bachelor's Occupational Therapy + Preferred 1-year Occupational Therapy **Facility:** BayCare Health System, Rehab Pedi-SJCH **Location:** **St Joseph's Children's Hospital - Tampa, FL** **Status:** **Pool, Exempt: No** **Shift Hours:** **8:00a to 4:30p (Fluctuation)** **Shift:** **Days** **Weekend Work:** **Occasional** **On Call:** **No** **How often will this team member be working remotely?** Never Equal Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled **Position** Pediatric Occupational Therapist Pool **Location** Tampa:St Josephs | Clinical | Pool **Req ID** null
