as a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric HospitalistAbout OpportunityWe are seeking a compassionate and collaborative Internal Medicine Physician to join the Department of Pediatrics at SVMC in a full time Pediatric Hospitalist role As part of our growing team you willFull time Newborn nursery and hospital pediatric coverageSchedule Seven shifts per four week cycleEach shift is twenty four hoursThere are thirteen cycles per year For weekday shifts physician must be on site at the hospital between PM AM of each twenty four hour shift and available via phone between AM ndash PMFor weekend shifts physician must be on site at the hospital for the entire twenty four hour shiftHospital coverage includes rounding on newborns attending c sections both scheduled and emergent managing photo therapy occasional pedi consults to ED or floors and stabilization of newborns for transport and admitting newborns to NICU average daily census Neonatologist support and guidance The neonatologist is in house from am to pm and covers from home Great work life balance with combination of OnOff site shiftsFaculty appointment with teaching opportunity with Quinnipiac Medical
