Pediatric Hospitalist Clinical Faculty
Job Description

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking a full-time Pediatric Hospitalist to join the Division of Neonatology, the largest division in the Department of Pediatrics, and our growing Pediatric Hospital Medicine program at Guerin Children's.

Responsibilities include:

providing professional physician clinical services on our brand new general pediatrics and mixed subspecialty pediatric med-surg unittraining and mentoring our Guerin Children’s pediatric residents and medical students at various levels of training on their inpatient pediatrics rotationsadministrative leadership interests to enhance unit service delivery in areas such as pediatric inpatient quality and safety 

Cedars-Sinai Guerin Children’s is a tertiary and quaternary pediatric center advancing an ambitious vision for children’s healthcare thanks to the generosity of the Shapell Guerin Family Foundation and its president, Vera Guerin. Propelled by this historic $100 million gift, Cedars-Sinai Guerin Children’s fills a critical gap in care for young patients in Los Angeles and beyond, providing primary and specialty care for patients as they grow from newborns to adolescents to adults. The pediatric inpatient unit has been newly redesigned to be a state-of-the-art general pediatrics and mixed subspecialty inpatient space with 26 beds, in addition to current pediatric intensive care beds and neonatal intensive care beds.

Our compensation philosophy:

We offer competitive total compensation that includes pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range shown takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors.  This total pay range includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. We also offer a comprehensive faculty benefits package.

Pay Range: $226,949 - $346,155 Total Cash Compensation

Successful candidates for this position must demonstrate the ability to work with a diverse group of hospital and academic department partners using a collaborative approach. Other qualities include a commitment to excellence in patient care, commitment to medical education and interests in administrative leadership.

Required Education/Certifications:

Medical Degree (or equivalent) from an accredited medical schoolBoard Certification or Board Eligible in PediatricsAbility to obtain an unrestricted California Physician medical licenseEligible for appointment to the appropriate academic rank in the CSMC Professorial SeriesEstablished record of excellence in patient care and teaching and interests in administration
