This Position reports to:

R&D Team Lead

 

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.  

Work model: onsite

1.    Project:Lead and execute the product localization project to ensure timeframe, quality and cost requirements;Support and execute for new product development project industrialization to ensure timeframe, quality and cost requirements;Provide technical support for improvement projects such as OPEX saving, FPY, second source, etc.2.    Product maintenanceLeading of engineering change implementation in manufacturing unit;Clarify product/part requirement and perform sample evaluation;Lead trial production & small batch production for the quality validation;Provides technical support to manufacturing unit for product problem solving;Responsible for mPart& mBOM maintenance in gPLM;Provide technical support to other projects (e.g. global second source);Execute for product optimization development project (POD).3.    Production technical support:Problem solving (participation to QC level 2) and provide the technical support for production issues analyzing & solving;Support PFMEA evaluation and supplier audit;Provides support to production and other departments during the internal/external process/equipment start-up;Define the product testing parameter;Responsible for material consumption making and adjustment, and support for stock material handling 4.    Product cost management:Product direct cost benchmark set up;Product direct cost monitoring and early warming;5.    Mold managementCollect and evaluate necessary mold budget for mass production operation and the new product development;Responsible for mold investment application evaluation and decision making;Provide technical support to mold supplier if technical problem happens.

 

What it takes to Run what runs the world 

B.Sc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or relevant fieldsAt least 6 years working experience with min. 1 years’ experience in product designUnderstand the Function design method, good at using function design method including tolerance analyzingProficient of MS office, well understand AutoCAD, CREO or UGGood of oral, reading and express technical solutions in EnglishHave strong analytical skills and good communication skills, know how to observe, analyze the results caused by process changes or design issue, and takes rapid actions to prevent them beforehand.  Knowledge of common used engineering materials, e.g. metals, plastics, etc.Familiar with moulds and jigsAbility to work independently without supervision and able to handle high volumes of work.Basic financial knowledge, understand the project management process, have the project management experience(Industrialization and localization)Excellent multi-department cooperation skills, familiar with PPAP and problem-solving tools such as 6 Sigma, 8D report, DOE, FMEA, SPC, MSA, etc.
