About the Role
Role is responsible for:1) Develop and oversee ESG policies and procedures of BPI AIA
2) Represent BPI AIA in all ESG-related meetings with BPI and the appropriate Board and Board committees
3) Incorporate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria into the financial aspects of the company
4) Assess sustainability risks and opportunities and ensure that the initiatives are aligned with the sustainable development goals
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze, evaluate, and integrate ESG risks and opportunities in the financial portfolios, investments, developing frameworks, and corporate activities that support sustainable growthEnsure that financial products and strategies reflect sustainable principlesPrepare ESG reports, sustainability disclosures, and presentations for executives and board members and regulatorsHelp meet regulatory standards and lead in corporate responsibility by monitoring the performance of sustainable investments and engaging with stakeholdersDevelop and execute ESG strategies aligned with corporate goals and industry practicesTrack and communicate key ESG performance indicators (KPIs) to senior executives and cascade to the entire organizationCollaborate with various ESG pillar leads of BPI AIA, AIA PH, and BPI Sustainability Office to ensure ESG alignment across companiesResearch emerging ESG trends, sustainable business models/strategies and recommend improvements on current corporate initiativesDrive ESG awareness and training programs within the organizationMINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of any 4- or 5-year college course preferably in the field of Finance, Economics, Sustainability, or related fields.Certification in Sustainable Finance or ESG analysis is a plus.Minimum 5 years work experience with a Life Insurance Company, preferably Sales, Marketing and Operations. 2-5 years of experience in sustainable finance, ESG analysis, or impact investing.Strong understanding of ESG SDGs, strategies, and risksWith ability to influence and drive cross-functional business unitsProficiency in sustainability reporting framework such as GRI.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trendsGreat interpersonal skills and stakeholder management skills, with excellent oral and written communication, and presentation skillsResults-driven with a track record of producing accurate, thorough and professional workAbility to multitask and prioritize initiatives to support business growthBuild a career with us as we help our customers and the community live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.
