Job Responsibilities:

Utilize statistical and problem-solving knowledge.Interpret control charts (SPC) and other statistical tools to take appropriate containment actions.Help provide training for employees in process control methods.Report any non-conforming product to the Area Leader and Quality Assurance immediately by following the appropriate escalation process.Perform inspections and/or verify that inspected work and records conform to requirements of LMV’s Quality Plan, other applicable standards, codes, and customer requirements.Initiate containment as required and maintain responsibility for containments until a clear report on the status is completed to pass on to Quality Assurance.Help develop gauging instructions.Perform assembly line check fixture and SPC inspections.Maintain all equipment used for integrity, calibration of all gauges.Interact with other departments to reach a consensus on the root cause, action plans, and corrective action.Maintain welding, weld destruct, and non-destruct equipment.Assist with sample submission.Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area.Maintain close communication with Engineers, Weld Technicians, Quality Assurance, and Production employees.Conduct shift pass down with other employees.Encourage safety and housekeeping practices and lead by example.Promote and facilitate the Open-Door process, effective communication, and Fair Treatment. Attain safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement goals. Attend training as required.
