Job Title: PCBA TechnicianJob Description The PCBA Technician will work under close supervision, following detailed instructions and undergoing frequent reviews. The role involves installing, repairing, and replacing various electronic components, including through-hole and surface mount technology (SMT) packages such as QFP (Quad Flat Package), BGA (Ball Grid Array), chip components, SOIC (small-outline integrated circuit), axial and radial components. The technician will perform solder operations in compliance with J-STD-001 and IPC-610 standards and maintain and operate various Printed Circuit Board Assembly Equipment. Responsibilities + Install, repair, and replace through-hole and surface mount technology (SMT) packages. + Perform soldering operations according to J-STD-001 and IPC-610 standards. + Maintain and operate various PCB Assembly Equipment, including Surface Mount lines, Robotic Soldering, X-Ray, Automated Optical Inspection, and Conformal Coating Applications. + Observe all laws, regulations, and obligations on behalf of the company. + Work safely in accordance with established procedures and practices. + Help maintain work area orderliness by returning tools and materials to storage areas. + Assist with other duties as assigned or required. Essential Skills + Proficiency in electrical and electronics troubleshooting and repair. + Familiarity with mechanical schematics and oscilloscope usage. + Experience with hand tools, wiring, and test equipment. + Competence in soldering, calibration, and installation of electrical systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with electrical or electronics products. + Experience in a manufacturing environment. + Ability to move material and stage for production. + Capability to clean and prepare equipment for production use. + Experience in assembling, disassembling, and fabricating products. + Willingness to learn machine operations to support production. Work Environment This position is based onsite at the Tupelo, MS facility. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, working 10-hour shifts. The role does not offer relocation assistance. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shannon, Mississippi. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
