PCB Solder / Assembler - J-STD

JSG is hiring a PCB Assembler/Solder - Microscope for our client in Cypress, CA.

Typical work includes soldering SMD components, assembly with wires, mounting PCBs to metal chassis, staking components and wires, all according to J-STD-001 w/ space addendum standards. You will also work alongside Quality and Process Engineers and assist in developing procedures that satisfy company focus on quality, producibility, reliability, and automation.
Duties and Responsibilities Requires experience in micro-electronics and familiar with performing assembly operations with microscope. Requires experience working with minimal supervision to perform and complete assigned work. Ability to hold and maintain J-STD-001 w/ space addendum certifications. J-STD-001 w/ space addendum certification Perform operations per detailed work instructions and assembly drawings. Perform soldering operations (typically with SMD components and wires), stripping & tinning insulated wires (small gauges 28AWG to 40AWG), staking/bonding components, conformal coating operations, and handling materials with shelf-life. Adheres to the company’s ESD and Cleanliness Procedures Inspects own assembly work as-you-go according to IPC-A-610. Determines proper terminal and polarity connections for components and parts. Operates ovens, hotplates, basic measuring devices, hand soldering tools. Use of equipment such as screwdrivers, torque tools, wire strippers, and crimping tools as necessary. Pay rate: $22-$24+ DOE #D800
