Kforce has a client that is seeking a PC Technician (Deployment) in Phoenix, AZ.
Overview:
This is a 100% on-site role focused on device deployment and end-user support. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing, delivering, and supporting desktop and laptop hardware, as well as providing hands-on assistance with peripherals, applications, and network connectivity.
Responsibilities:
New Device Deployment:
* Image, prepare, and configure desktops, laptops, and tablets
* Migrate user data and install required software
* Deliver and set up devices at user workstations
* Provide walkthroughs on device operations
* Update asset tracking and inventory records
Desktop & Laptop Support:
* Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues
* Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patching
* Configure and install operating systems and applications
Network Connectivity:
* Troubleshoot wired and wireless network issues
Peripheral & Accessory Support:
* Set up and troubleshoot printers, scanners, webcams, etc.
* Manage docking stations, monitors, keyboards, and accessories
* Replace or repair hardware components as needed
Application Support:
* Troubleshoot desktop application issues (e.g., Microsoft Office, productivity tools)
* Support installation of web-based and local applications
User Support & Customer Service:
* Communicate clearly and professionally with users
* Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions
