PC Consultant - Associate
**UPMC Cole is hiring a full-time PC Consultant working Monday- Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This will be a fully on-site position.** **Overview:** UPMC Cole is seeking a dedicated and skilled PC Consultant to join our team. As a PC Consultant, you will provide day-to-day support for end-user computing devices within the UPMC community. This role involves troubleshooting hardware, applications, and data communications to ensure seamless operations. You will support UPMC Cole and surrounding area. **Key Responsibilities:** + **Ticket Management:** Complete assigned tickets and tasks daily, ensuring timely resolution. + **On-Call Rotation:** Participate in the Desktop Support On-Call rotation to provide support during off-hours. + **Multi-Location Coverage:** Cover multiple locations as needed based on operational requirements. + **Technical Mentorship:** Actively engage in mentorship opportunities with intermediate and senior team members. + **Client Service:** Provide exceptional service to ISD clients, patients, families, and visitors while maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of all data. + **Relocation Assistance:** Assist in relocating standard desktop computers and devices within the UPMC end-user community. + **Second-Level Support:** Offer second-level support for escalated problem requests from the ISD Help Desk, coordinating with UPMC personnel and vendors to resolve issues. + **Documentation:** Report back to the ISD Help Desk and end users regarding problem status until resolved. Document request status and resolution activities as directed. + **Project Management:** Update all project management and time tracking tools accordingly. + **Communication:** Demonstrate clear, concise, and effective written and oral communications in all interactions to build relationships and accomplish day-to-day work and projects. + **Team Collaboration:** Embrace a team-first approach, working collaboratively and offering feedback to complete individual and group efforts. + **Adaptability:** Show flexibility to change by adapting approach when necessary. + **Continuous Learning:** Engage in self-study, training, and partnering with senior team members to stay up to date with industry and organizational trends. Ability to perform basic/standard IT procedures and protocols, relying on a buddy system or coach to demonstrate applied skills and guide non-routine actions. + Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and walk up and down hills to reach various end-user sites at UPMC facilities. + Availability: Must be willing and able to report for work at various UPMC facilities and provide 24/7 coverage for on-call support rotations.
