Payroll Tax Specialist SR

Major Responsibilities:
Track all “new state” requests to ensure they are assessed, approved/denied, and set-up in the appropriate company and payroll system. Analyze changes in employee home and worked-in state as well as withholding elections to ensure compliance with applicable laws.Complete the ADP quarterly reporting reconciliation by tax entity including review of ADP-prepared tax filings to verify they are compliant with agreement. Lead quarterly review of ADP Tax Services and other third parties with payroll management.Provide project management for the annual tax reporting process.Research and respond to correspondence from tax authorities.Advise payroll management regarding changes in tax laws and regulations. Provide updates to the payroll team and Human Resource and Finance, as required.Review the payroll tax-related work of other payroll team members. Lead the annual W-2 project.All other duties assigned by the Payroll Director.Responsible for understanding and adhering to the Code of Ethical Conduct and for ensuring that personal actions comply with the policies, regulations and laws applicable to AAH’s business.
