Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Tax Compliance Lead to oversee and ensure the accurate and timely filing of payroll taxes across multiple domestic and international legal entities. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of payroll tax experience, strong working knowledge of ADP and Workday, and demonstrated collaboration with tax and GL accounting teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure timely and accurate filing and payment of all federal, state, and local payroll taxes in the U.S. and applicable international jurisdictions.
Collaborate with external vendors (e.g., ADP, Workday) to manage tax setup, compliance, and issue resolution.
Partner with the corporate tax and general ledger accounting teams to ensure alignment on tax reporting and reconciliations.
Maintain compliance with evolving payroll tax laws and regulatory requirements.
Support audits, reconciliations, and quarterly/year-end processes, including W-2s and related filings.
Manage and maintain payroll tax accounts, notices, and registrations for multiple legal entities.
Serve as a subject matter expert on payroll tax for internal stakeholders, providing guidance on tax impacts of business decisions and policy changes.
Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of experience in payroll tax compliance and reporting.
1+ year of experience in ADP (SmartCompliance or Tax Services) and Workday Payroll.
1+ year of experience supporting multiple legal entities, both foreign and domestic.
1+ year of experience working with payroll tax laws, filings (941, 940, state/local), and reporting requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
CPP certification a plus.
Professional Skills:
Experience working cross-functionally with Tax, GL Accounting, and HR teams.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines and jurisdictions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$81,094.00 - $137,860.00Nationwide Remote Office (US99)
