Summary Description
Under limited supervision, modifies the payroll computer systems as necessary to support process efficiencies and changes in pay practices, taxes, policy, scheduling and productivity, etc. Develops and maintains reports utilizing data depositories to generate a variety of payroll-related reports for hospital management and/or government agencies on a regular basis. Participates in quarter and year-end projects including weekly payroll and W2 analysis and reconciliations. Assist with the implementation of enhanced processes including documentation Standard Operating procedures and training.
Serves as a Subject Matter Expert for Timekeeping applications (KRONOS Advance Scheduler, Timekeeper). Maintains systems to support analytics for over 12 facilities and 3000 KRONOS users by responding to system related questions, taxation issues, complex problems, training, and provides solutions for users.Analyzes system capabilities, data integrity and business processes as part of daily activities and makes recommendations for improvements to ensure the highest efficiency of tasks.Makes effective and objective decisions regarding task priorities and other situations where multiple factors must be considered and weighed in order to maximize performance, accuracy, productivity and results.Researches, diagnosis, and resolves issues occurring with data, setup, processes, and interfaces. Provides recommendations to management on improvements to mitigate problems.Responsible for maintaining Payroll System users by taking action on submitted access requests. Establishes agency employees in timekeeping system and performs needed maintenance.Assist with the processing of payroll by initiating tasks, developing/generating reports, preparing tax payments and managing tasks to successfully complete the payroll process.Reconciles the payroll run by balancing the weekly payroll and preparing payment requests. yUnderstand all PR/HR interfaces and troubleshoot system problems so that the system(s) continue to operate efficiently. Initiates contact with third party vendors as needed for support.Designs conducts training for KRONOS Timekeeping, Analytics and Advance Scheduler of other analysts; as well as hospital PR/HR users. Communicates changes and develops application user tools to enhance system knowledge.Provides timely support to employees, vendors and leadership of the DMC.
