Description We are looking for an experienced Payroll Supervisor/Manager to join our team in Hampton, South Carolina. This Contract-to-permanent position requires expertise in managing payroll operations, employee onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance with government regulations. The role offers a hybrid work schedule, combining both on-site and remote work after initial onboarding. Responsibilities: • Oversee full-cycle payroll processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness for over 500 employees. • Manage employee onboarding procedures, ensuring a seamless transition for new hires. • Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks. • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government regulations, including contracts and grants. • Collaborate with HR to address employee concerns and maintain accurate records. • Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies efficiently. • Monitor and maintain compliance with government reporting requirements. • Partner with leadership to implement payroll system improvements and best practices. • Provide training and support to team members on payroll-related tasks. Requirements • Proven experience in full-cycle payroll management for large-scale organizations. • Strong knowledge of benefits administration and HR processes. • Familiarity with government contracts, grants, and compliance requirements. • Expertise in onboarding and employee record management. • Ability to manage payroll for over 500 employees accurately and efficiently. • Experience working with county government or similar entities is preferred. • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
