Salary: 65,000 - 75,000

Here’s what you’d do:

The BVG Regional Business Specialist is responsible to provide backup to the Regional Business Administration Manager and interacts with branches and cross functional teams to handle and manage accounts payable matters. 

 

You’d be responsible for:

Provide audit support to internal/external auditors and corporate tax teamIdentify areas of process improvement and lead implementation of process changesWork with 3-way match process to include the electronic receiving on Delivery tickets - heavy research capabilities requiredEnsure all invoices are processed in accordance with documented SOX controls.May assist with Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable duties as needed in support of branch cash management and vendor administration initiatives. Interacting with branches and cross-functional teams on accounts payable mattersWork with suppliers to ensure timely collection of required lien releases. Ensure payroll is processed according to our Company policy and any problems or questions relating to payroll are resolved or answeredProcess payroll in accordance with company policiesReview and screening branch timecard entry for accuracyEnter data into payroll system accurately and timelyMaintain positive relationships with branch offices and company suppliers to ensure accurate and timely Client invoicing/billingPrepare timely month-end closing activitiesDemonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer serviceProduce, revise, and send written communication including memos, letters, and flyersMaintain subcontract files ensuring prompt payment and appropriate licensing and insuranceProvide customer service to our Vendors to include research and tracking of payment statusAnswer phones for branch if applicableRun reports as needed/directed by Branch Team MembersFile (electronically) various types for job and payroll files.Work with Electronic Time Capture Program to process payroll as needed.Special projects as assigned

You might be a good fit if you have:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting (preferred)Minimum 2 years of relevant AP experience (3-way match) - REQUIRED1-3 years Construction AP experience (preferred)Minimum 2 years of general office clerical experienceAccounts Payable (AP) and/or Accounts Receivable (AR) related experience preferredPayroll Certification (CPS, CPP, FPC) preferredHigh proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, Outlook)A team player and supportive business partner attitudeStrong multi-tasking skills with the ability to work in fast paced environmentStrong verbal and written communication skills with strong suits to investigation and researchHigh attention to detail with strong organizational skillsTakes initiative to identify and resolve issuesFlexibility to learn new systems and software quicklyStrong work ethicCustomer service experienceBilingual (Spanish) preferredJD Edwards/Oracle experience a plus
