AP Specialist | $23 – $26 | Monday – Friday, Rotating Weekends / Nights / Direct Hire What Matters MostCompetitive Pay of $23 – $26 hourlySchedule: Monday – Friday, 10:00pm – 6:30amLocation: Sioux City, IA Job Description The Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing accurate and timely payroll in coordination with a third-party provider. This position manages payroll inputs, deductions, garnishments, and employee records, and ensures all data complies with deadlines and regulations. The specialist will also support the auditing of time records, coordinate closely with HR and management, and generate reports for internal stakeholders. This is a vital role requiring accuracy, discretion, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:Collect, review, and upload earnings and deductions data for payroll processingSubmit payrolls to third-party provider and ensure deadlines are metAudit time records and schedules using time and attendance systemsMaintain and reconcile payroll records including garnishments, VOEs, and benefitsPrepare payroll-related reports and respond to employee inquiries Qualifications and Requirements:Minimum 2 years of payroll experience with automated payroll/time systems or associate’s degree in accountingStrong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and work independentlyExperience with HRIS systems; ADP preferred but not requiredKnowledge of payroll regulations and processes; ability to stay current with changesExcellent communication and organizational skills Benefits and Perks:Medical, Vision, Dental Benefits – FSA, HSA, Disability Options (Benefits Available Day One)PTO – Begins Accruing Day OneSix Paid Holidays401(k) with MatchSeveral Training & Growth Opportunities Your New Organization:Join a well-established company committed to operational excellence and employee development.
