Description We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our growing client in the Camp Hill, Pennsylvania area. In this role, you will ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations. This position requires exceptional organizational skills and a strong attention to detail to support efficient payroll operations. Responsibilities: • Review employee timesheets for accuracy and completeness. • Calculate wages, taxes, and other deductions based on current regulations. • Process garnishments and other payroll adjustments as required. • Input payroll data into the system and maintain supporting spreadsheets. • Generate and distribute paychecks while ensuring payment accuracy. • Maintain detailed and accurate payroll records for auditing purposes. • Reconcile payroll accounts within the general ledger and prepare journal entries. • Post payroll transactions into accounting software with precision. • Address employee inquiries regarding payroll concerns and resolve issues promptly. Requirements • Strong understanding of payroll procedures and accounting principles. • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and compliance standards. • Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Minimum of 2 years of payroll processing experience required; CPP certification preferred • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred. • Proficiency in payroll software and accounting tools, such as Workday.
