Key Responsibilities: + Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll for multiple departments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. + Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. + Handle wage garnishments, deductions, and benefits-related payroll entries. + Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies. + Prepare payroll reports for internal and external audits. + Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, timekeeping, and tax documentation. + Stay current with changes in payroll laws and regulations and recommend process improvements. Requirements + 2+ years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a multi-entity environment. + Strong understanding of payroll systems and tax regulations. + Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel. + Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. + Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. + Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred. + CPP certification is a plus.
