Payroll Specialist
Description We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team in Eugene, Oregon. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to work remotely while contributing to a dynamic media organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in handling payroll for multi-state operations and large employee populations. Responsibilities: • Process full-cycle payroll for a workforce of over 500 employees across multiple states, ensuring accuracy and compliance. • Utilize ADP Workforce Now to manage payroll operations efficiently. • Review and reconcile payroll data to ensure precision in calculations and reporting. • Address and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner. • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to payroll and taxation. • Collaborate with HR and management teams to support employee payroll inquiries and updates. • Generate detailed payroll reports and analytics for internal use. • Assist in payroll preparation during periods of organizational change or transitions. • Ensure confidentiality and security of all payroll-related information. Requirements • Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing for large organizations. • Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and practices. • Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now for payroll management. • Demonstrated ability to manage payroll for over 500 employees. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining high productivity. • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and address employee concerns.
