Description We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team in Waddell, Arizona. This is a Contract-to-ongoing position, offering the opportunity to work on-site and handle payroll operations for a large workforce. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing both hourly and salaried payrolls while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Responsibilities: • Process full-cycle payroll for a workforce of approximately 500 employees, including 400 hourly and 100 salaried workers. • Administer multi-state payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local laws. • Utilize Paylocity and ADP Workforce Now to manage payroll systems efficiently. • Handle workers' compensation reporting and ensure timely submissions. • Verify payroll records, including employee hours, benefits, and deductions. • Address and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly to maintain employee satisfaction. • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll processes. • Monitor and update payroll policies in alignment with regulatory changes. • Prepare reports and documentation related to payroll for auditing purposes. • Provide support and training to team members as needed on payroll systems and procedures. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in full-cycle payroll processing. • Proven ability to manage payroll operations for over 500 employees. • Proficiency in using Paylocity and ADP Workforce Now for payroll management. • Knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and compliance requirements. • Strong understanding of workers' compensation processes and reporting. • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills. • Effective communication skills for resolving payroll-related issues. • Ability to work on-site in Waddell, Arizona.
