Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Sylmar, California. In this role, you will handle comprehensive payroll processes while ensuring compliance with multi-state regulations. Responsibilities: • Process full-cycle payroll for over 500 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Manage multi-state payroll operations, adhering to varying state tax and labor regulations. • Utilize ADP Workforce Now and JDE EnterpriseOne systems to execute payroll tasks efficiently. • Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies to maintain data integrity. • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to gather and verify payroll information. • Prepare and submit payroll-related tax filings and reports in compliance with regulations. • Address employee payroll inquiries and provide prompt resolutions to issues. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance. • Implement process improvements to streamline payroll operations and enhance efficiency. • Generate detailed payroll reports and metrics for management review. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in full-cycle payroll processing. • Proven expertise in handling multi-state payroll operations. • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and JDE EnterpriseOne systems. • Strong understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements. • Experience managing payroll for large organizations with over 500 employees. • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing. • Effective communication skills to address employee inquiries and collaborate with teams. • Ability to analyze and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly.
