Description We are looking for a meticulous Payroll Specialist to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. In this contract to hire position, you will play a vital role in managing payroll operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires collaboration with finance teams and the ability to handle multi-state payroll for a substantial workforce. Responsibilities: • Process bi-weekly payroll for over 500 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance. • Generate and review payroll reports for finance, including employer contributions and deductions. • Conduct audits during peak audit seasons, pulling employee data and salary information. • Utilize ADP Workforce Now for payroll processing and reporting. • Handle personal data change forms using Adobe software and Bliss Book. • Ensure proper documentation and sign-offs for new hires, promotions, and other payroll-related changes. • Collaborate with finance teams to reconcile payroll data and ensure accurate reporting. • Maintain organized records and documentation for payroll operations. • Provide support during audits and address any discrepancies in payroll data. Requirements • Proven experience with full-cycle payroll processing, including multi-state payroll. • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now is required. • Intermediate skills in Excel, including basic formulas and data organization. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to handle payroll for a workforce of 500+ employees. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Familiarity with Adobe tools and Bliss Book is a plus. • Ability to work onsite with potential for hybrid remote work if hired permanently.
