Payroll Specialist

As part of our Payroll Services team, you’ll ensure the accurate and timely payroll processing for our employees in Mexico — while helping drive digitalization and efficiency across our operations. Your Role: Payroll Specialist You will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processes, from collecting payroll inputs to supporting employee inquiries and ensuring full compliance with local regulations. You’ll also play an active role in identifying automation opportunities and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: • Receive and manage payroll inputs through defined systems and communication channels • Enter and validate payroll data in the system • Ensure accurate and timely payroll calculations and approvals • Generate payment files and support accounting records • Attend to employees’ questions regarding their payroll • Process and validate electronic payroll receipts (XML) and reconcile them with the SAT payroll viewer • Administer employee benefit cards (e.g., food vouchers) • Execute internal controls to ensure compliant payroll processing • Identify opportunities to simplify and automate payroll activities 📚 What you need to succeed: • 3–5 years of experience in payroll processing (biweekly, monthly, etc.) • Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Human Resources • Solid knowledge of Mexican labor and tax regulations (LFT, LISR, IMSS, Infonavit) • Experience working with payroll systems (SAP is a strong plus) • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools • Proficient English level (written and spoken) • Strong service mindset and effective communication skills • Proactive, analytical, eager to learn and propose solutions Key Attributes: • Results-oriented and solution-driven • Team player with a collaborative approach • Comfortable working in dynamic and changing environments • Willing to learn, ask questions, and continuously improve processesSiemens is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer encouraging diversity in the workplace.
