Description We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team in Lexington, Kentucky. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to manage full-cycle payroll processes across multiple states. Responsibilities: • Process and oversee full-cycle payroll operations to ensure accurate and timely payments. • Manage payroll for employees across multiple states, adhering to applicable regulations. • Utilize ADP Workforce Now to execute payroll tasks efficiently and maintain accurate records. • Handle payroll for over 500 employees, ensuring compliance with company policies. • Review and reconcile payroll reports to identify and resolve discrepancies. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state and federal payroll laws and regulations. • Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to streamline payroll processes. • Address employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and provide prompt solutions. • Prepare and submit necessary tax filings and reports in compliance with legal standards. • Support audits and provide documentation as needed to ensure compliance. Requirements • Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing. • Familiarity with managing payroll across multiple states. • Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now for payroll operations. • Ability to handle payroll for a workforce of over 500 employees. • Strong understanding of state and federal payroll regulations. • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • Effective communication skills to address payroll inquiries. • Experience collaborating with HR and accounting teams.
