Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team in Atwater, California. Responsibilities: • Process full-cycle payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees. • Maintain and update payroll records, verifying data for compliance and accuracy. • Utilize payroll systems, including ADP, to manage employee information and payment processing. • Collaborate with accounting and HR teams to reconcile payroll discrepancies and address employee inquiries. • Generate detailed payroll reports and ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations. • Perform data entry tasks, including 10-key input, with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy. • Monitor payroll-related accounts and assist with financial computations as needed. • Identify and resolve payroll issues, providing solutions to maintain smooth operations. • Stay informed about updates in payroll practices, systems, and relevant legislation. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in accounting or business is preferred. • A minimum of 2 years of experience in computerized payroll systems, with preference for ADP system experience. • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, methods, and relevant financial terminology. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet software. • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. • Strong data entry skills, including 10-key proficiency. • Ability to perform accurate financial computations and maintain confidentiality. • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and address employee concerns.
