Description We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Specialist to join our team in Aurora, Colorado. This is a Contract to permanent position that requires an experienced and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in payroll administration and billing processes. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and be comfortable working on-site. Responsibilities: • Process payroll accurately and on time using ADP Workforce Now and other accounting software systems. • Manage employee benefits administration, including 401k and RRSP contributions. • Oversee billing functions, ensuring timely and precise invoicing. • Conduct audits to verify payroll compliance and resolve discrepancies. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless payroll and accounting operations. • Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality. • Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to payroll and billing. • Support employees with payroll-related inquiries and benefit enrollment. • Utilize About Time software to track and manage employee time records. • Ensure adherence to federal and state payroll regulations. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in payroll and billing functions. • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and other accounting software systems. • Familiarity with 401k and RRSP benefit administration. • Strong understanding of payroll compliance and regulations. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. • Effective communication skills for interacting with employees and internal teams. • Experience with About Time software is a plus.
