Description We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team in Dallas, Texas, in the healthcare industry. This position involves managing and processing employee time records, ensuring compliance with policies, and supporting payroll inquiries. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in payroll systems and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities: • Accurately process employee time records using Kronos and PeopleSoft systems. • Ensure payroll transactions comply with company policies, procedures, and government regulations. • Manage time submittals and historical adjustments from Kronos to Oracle PeopleSoft Time and Labor. • Communicate deadline changes effectively, considering holidays or operational shifts. • Address employee inquiries related to work and non-work hours affecting payroll. • Assist managers and time approvers to guarantee timely approvals. • Provide training and guidance to new users of the Kronos timekeeping system. • Deliver exceptional customer service regarding payroll-related concerns. • Perform additional duties as assigned to support payroll operations. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of payroll processing experience. • Proficiency in Kronos timekeeping systems and PeopleSoft 9.2. • Strong data entry skills with attention to detail. • Knowledge of payroll processes, including multi-state payroll and garnishments. • Experience handling payroll for large employee groups. • Familiarity with payroll tax reconciliation and year-end payroll procedures. • Excellent customer service and communication skills. • Ability to manage deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
