Payroll Specialist – Temporary Project (14 Months)

At Siemens, we provide high-quality services to support our internal customers worldwide. As part of our Payroll Services team, you’ll ensure the accurate and timely payroll processing for our employees in Mexico — while helping drive digitalization and efficiency across our operations.

This is a temporary position for a 14-month project, ideal for professionals who are ready to make an impact in a dynamic, compliance-driven environment.

Your Role: Payroll Specialist

You will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processes, from collecting payroll inputs to supporting employee inquiries and ensuring full compliance with local regulations. You’ll also play an active role in identifying automation opportunities and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive and manage payroll inputs through defined systems and communication channels Enter and validate payroll data in the system Ensure accurate and timely payroll calculations and approvalsGenerate payment files and support accounting recordsAttend to employees’ questions regarding their payrollProcess and validate electronic payroll receipts (XML) and reconcile them with the SAT payroll viewer Administer employee benefit cards (e.g., food vouchers)Execute internal controls to ensure compliant payroll processingIdentify opportunities to simplify and automate payroll activities What you need to succeed:

 3–5 years of experience in payroll processing (biweekly, monthly, etc.)Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Human ResourcesSolid knowledge of Mexican labor and tax regulations (LFT, LISR, IMSS, Infonavit)Experience working with payroll systems (Workday & SAP is a strong plus)Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools Proficient English level (written and spoken)Strong service mindset and effective communication skills Key Attributes:
