Payroll Professional - People & Organization (m/f/d)
The Siemens Mobility and Transport division provides integrated mobility solutions for urban, interurban and logistics transport. For the efficient transportation of passengers and goods, we combine specialization in automation and electrification by road and rail, rail vehicles, turnkey systems, consulting and consumer services.  We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Professional to join our P&O team in Portugal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements, and providing exceptional service to our employees.
Key Responsibilities:Completes company-specific payroll configurations and analyses for specific business casesCoordinates the processing of payroll information among team members to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Prepares and distributes various payroll reports for clients and management. Interfaces with P&O IT to ensure integration requirements are properly communicated and implemented. Reconciles payroll accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. Responds to inquiries from employees related to payroll and administration, providing clear and accurate information. Processes garnishment orders, withholding orders, or levels, including facilitating payments to agencies.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.Portuguese and English C1 Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a large organization.
Skills & RequirementsStrong numeracy and communication skills.Proficiency in Excel, Workday, SAP.Proficiency in using payroll and accounting management tools.Deep understanding of payroll laws and regulations.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.Experience with multi-state payroll is advantageous.Digital skillsAttentive, organized, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.What you can expect from us: A flexible working model to promote a better work-life balance, a health insurance and access to our on-site medical center. 2 volunteering days a year and 4 additional bridge days per year.
