Payroll Professional
Job Description

As part of our ongoing implementation of a new HR delivery model, we are looking for a Payroll Professional to our HR Services Payroll team in Finland.

 

Reporting to our Payroll Manager for Northern Europe, you will join a newly formed team within our shared services setup. As such, the role would suit someone with the motivation and drive to play an active role in the development of that team, ensuring successful delivery of payroll services to our Finnish operations. Employment will be available on either a part-time or full-time basis.

 

We are in the middle of implementing a new time and attendance system SAP Employee Central Time Tracking, which we expect to go-live with 1st June 2025.

 

You will be based at our office in Vaasa or Lappeenranta.

Job Responsibilities

As a Payroll Professional you will be supporting our payroll set up in Finland providing Inhouse payroll services in close collaboration with a colleague.

 

In your daily job you will handle the following tasks:
 

Inhouse Payroll: Process monthly payroll for our Finnish sites and ensure compliance, accuracy and efficiency in all our payroll & time processes, apply for allowances, support audits, and generate reports. HR admin: New starters admin, leaver’s admin, absence management and pension admin. Collaboration: Work with divergent functions across HR, Finance, and external payroll partners to ensure seamless deliveries. Employee queries: Act as a point of contact on payroll and HR admin related topics working in our ticket system ServiceNow. Documentation: Document tasks and processes in work instructions and create and maintain knowledge articles supporting self-service in the business. Background & Skills

We imagine that you hold a relevant bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or have equivalent work experience. We expect you to have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Payroll and preferably from an international company. Payroll experience is required, while in-house payroll experience is a plus. You are a quick learner, have a global mindset and an appetite for working in a set-up where we are exploring new and more efficient ways of working.
