The Payroll Optimization Lead will be responsible for the ongoing development and transformation of payroll data, payroll processes, payroll technology, and drive initiatives that enhance and revolutionize our payroll functions across Global operations.

This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in transformative change, adept at engaging diverse teams and fostering a culture of innovation to achieve excellence in all aspects of payroll management.

This role will have two direct reports.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead the transformation and continuous improvement of payroll processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.Oversee the implementation and optimization of payroll technology platforms.Manage the integration of payroll systems with other HR and benefits technologies. Develop and maintain payroll data strategies and structures.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.Provide strategic leadership and direction to the payroll team.Support SOX narrative review and lead SOC 1 evaluation and review for payroll technologyEnsure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.Analyze payroll data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.Train and support end-users, providing exceptional customer service and timely issue resolution.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or commensurate employment experienceExtensive experience in managing payroll systems.Experience with major payroll, time tracking and HR technology platforms (e.g., ADP, Workday, Kronos, UKG or similar).Experience managing key payroll integrations between equity and benefits partners (e.g., retirement, health).Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in a related field.Professional certifications in payroll management or related areas .Experience in a senior leadership role within Finance or HR.Knowledge of global payroll systems and regulations.Proven track record of successful payroll transformations.Work Environment

The Global Payroll Optimization Senior Director will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring flexibility and adaptability. This role will involve collaboration with international teams and stakeholders, necessitating strong cultural awareness and communication skills.

Pay Range:

$175,000 - $202,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
