The role
We're seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented People and Payroll Operations Partner to be based in our new Lisbon hub. You will be joining a global People Operations team who are located across our London and Riga hubs. We require someone with strong Portuguese payroll expertise. Experience with our other payroll systems would be advantageous. In this role, you must be self-reliant and dependable when managing global payroll, benefits, and people operations tasks. You will also have the chance to work on exciting projects and showcase strong analytical skills and a passion for process improvement.

Extensive technical knowledge of payroll procedures in Portugal and robust local HR knowledge Knowledge of international payrolls (UK, France, Ireland, US, Australia) is a plus.A proven track record in initiating and implementing process improvements. A history of owning projects focused on enhancing operational procedures. Experience in People Operations and Benefits management. Experience in thriving within a fast-paced environment. Exceptional data manipulation skills, able to transform raw data into meaningful insights. Ability to work independently and ensure the accuracy of information before entering it into systems. Experience in working with outsourced payroll models and managing third-party vendors for global payrolls. Bonus points - experience in building a new office hub from scratch and shaping its success from the ground up.Base salary range: €24,800 - €37,200 per annum (inclusive of 13th and 14th month salaries)
Base salary ranges are based on role, job level, location, and market data. Please note that whilst we strive to offer competitive compensation, our approach is to pay between the minimum and the mid-point of the pay range until performance can be assessed in role. Offers will take into account level of experience, interview assessment, budgets and parity between you and fellow employees at GoCardless doing similar work.
