The opportunity:
Join our team as a Payroll Officer and manage our end-to-end payroll processing for AIA Australia. In this role, you'll ensure the accuracy of payroll reports and collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot payroll issues, and continuously improve our payroll systems and processes.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Melbourne.
To do this successfully you will:
Manage the data interfaced between HRIS systems and carry out periodical sync activities
Work with users to document business requirements, considering SAP's technical capabilities
Periodic review of ADP Blueprint to align with legislative requirements and AIA policy
Edit personnel calculation schemas, rules, and features with our payroll vendor
Evaluate wage types and outputs to comply with legislation
Partner with vendors to implement system test plans and ensure system integrity
Handle UAT testing and system upgrades, coordinating with HRIT specialists
Identify inefficiencies and recommend best practices and system improvements
Analyse payroll information gaps and build improved system solutions
Successful applications will demonstrate:
Experience working in a Payroll Officer role ideally within the financial services industry
Experience working with ADP Globalview
Experience with SAP HR/HCM
Strong communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders at varying levels
Exceptional organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and execute deliverables within tight deadlines
