About the position:

This is a fully remote role in Costa Rica, and will support our North and South American teams. An ideal candidate will have a background with automated payroll.
Our team is collaborative with a continuous improvement mindset, and this will be a growth opportunity.

Responsibilities include: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll wage and hour laws; best practices. Maintain and update payroll records and systems. Review and verify payroll data, including timekeeping records, deductions, and benefits. Prepare and submit payroll reports to internal and external stakeholders. Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee payroll-related questions. Coordinate with HR and Finance teams on employee compensation, benefits, and tax matters. Implement and maintain payroll policies and procedures. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Job Requirements: 7+ years of payroll experience. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. High level of confidentiality and attention to detail. In-depth understanding of payroll regulations and tax laws. Bachelors degree or equivalent payroll experience. CPP certification is a plus, but not required. Experience running managed payroll vendor models, processing payroll(s) from end-to-end Education: Bachelors degree preferred
